Pittsfield Community Connection and West Main Connection, both programs of 18 Degrees, hosted a Youth Honors Ceremony at the Berkshire Athenaeum to recognize a select group of young adults from Berkshire County for their personal accomplishments.
The programs empower young people to determine their own goals while staff provide support and guidance along the way. Success is measured by the accomplishments of these 10 young adults who have achieved a wide range of goals, including passing the HiSET, enrolling in adult education courses, graduating from high school, securing gainful employment, creating stability for their family, learning to drive, purchasing a home, and volunteering.
