Blake Lively May needs to start saving for her one-year-old son Olin’s therapy bills… especially after she baked him a, well, interestingly designed cake for his birthday. She revealed the unusual birthday theme in a new interview, and it will have you giggle with joy.
The It ends with us The star admitted that she baked a cake that looked like a pair of breasts for her son’s birthday in February. “My birthday cakes always have a certain sense of humour, for my baby I just made a giant set of T-shirts,” she said in an interview with BBC Radio 2s Zoe Ball and friendsaccording to PEOPLE. “I have a feeling this will haunt him for the rest of his life.”

Sure, most moms bake or buy cakes with, I don’t know, cars or flowers or Mickey Mouse, but Lively is nothing if not unique. I can only imagine what the pictures looked like from the milestone event. Not to mention, was there a smash cake or did he just dip in the breast-shaped cake? I would pay to see Ryan Reynolds’ reaction to his wife’s cake.
Despite the somewhat NSFW cake for her baby, Lively insisted she was only thinking about her little boy. “But what do they want all of a sudden? He can’t say what he wants. So, boobs!” she added. Oh well! He obviously loves breastfeeding, so why not introduce him to something new in a familiar form?

During the interview gossip Girl Alum boasted about her baking skills. “I’ll show you a picture later, they’re pretty great,” she said, clarifying: “Of the cake, not mine… But also great.”
As she left, Lively told the crew, “The cake is incredible, you have to see it! You all have to see the cake.” Damn, she has to share a picture because we need to see this fabulous cake too!

Besides Olin, Lively has three daughters with Reynolds: James, 9, Inez, 7, and Betty, 4. In an interview with fashion Earlier this month, the creative mom revealed that she put her crafting skills to good use by making Halloween costumes for her girls. Lively made three witch costumes inspired by the Sanderson Sisters from Hocus Pocustold the outlet: “I bought capes on Etsy and went to the Garment District to buy all the embellishments. See, I made all of that, the heart shape, the details on the sleeve…”

She later shared a photo of the costumes on her Instagram story, and they looked truly impressive! “Honestly, I don’t know how to make patterns, so I start with a base dress (or broom or wig) from Etsy or Amazon and build out all the layers and embellishments and details and flourishes and build from there, layering the whole thing on top,” she wrote.
“My mother always did everything herself,” she continued. “I loved that and appreciated it very much, but I never learned how to do it myself. Skills that are on my bucket list to learn.”
What a cool Pinterest mom! Maybe one day she’ll share a picture of her son’s iconic birthday cake, but for now we’ll just have to take her word for how amazing it was.
