John Rich says he can’t wait for Taylor Swift to tell us how to vote

John Rich comments on Taylor Swift’s possible support of Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris.

The Big & Rich musician sarcastically wrote on X on Friday (August 22): “I can’t wait for Taylor Swift to tell me how to vote.”

Swift has not yet endorsed anyone in the 2024 presidential race between Trump and Harris. She endorsed Biden in 2020 and also targeted former Biden. apprentice Moderator during the George Floyd protests that same year and criticized Trump’s response to the unrest.

“After stoking the fires of white supremacy and racism your entire presidency, you have the nerve to feign moral superiority before threatening violence? ‘When the looting starts, the shooting starts’???,” Swift wrote, referring to a comment by Trump that many interpreted as a veiled threat to protesters following the killing of unarmed 46-year-old Floyd by a police officer in Minneapolis. “We will vote you out in November.”

Last week, the former president posted a series of images that appeared to show smiling fans wearing “Swifties for Trump” T-shirts. In another image, referencing the “I Want You For US Army” recruitment poster, an AI user created an image of Swift in a patriotic red, white and blue suit and a star-spangled top hat with the message: “Taylor wants you to vote for Donald Trump.”

“I accept!” Trump captioned the photo set, but later told Grady Trimble on the FOX Business Network The evening edition: “Someone came out and said, ‘Oh, look at this. This was all invented by other people. AI is always very dangerous in this respect.'”
