Amy Green of Helena-West Helena was selected to represent PCCUA as Outstanding Alumna of 2024.

Green serves as an assistant state attorney for the First Judicial District of Arkansas and is also the co-founder of Ridge City Roasters, Helena’s first small specialty coffee roaster and tasting room.

She is a graduate of Central High School and PCCUA and holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Arkansas State University. She earned her Juris Doctor in 2001 from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she was honored by Congresswoman Shelley Berkeley as a Southern Nevada Association of Women Attorneys Fellow.

After practicing law in Las Vegas, Green returned to her hometown of Helena in 2010, where in addition to serving as an assistant district attorney, she serves as the district attorney for Phillips County, the attorney for the City of Elaine and the City of Lexa, and represents children in Arkansas’ foster care system. She is a certified co-parenting coach and a certified trial attorney.

Earlier this year, she and her husband, Michael, opened Ridge City Roasters, which has received rave reviews in the community. When she’s not practicing law or roasting coffee beans, Green enjoys traveling abroad, road-tripping through Arkansas, hiking, and cooking meals for her large blended family.
