Trump contacts Akbar V

Recently, Akbar V shared on Instagram that Donald Trump sent her a letter for her birthday. The document also included a “MAGA” hat signed by the politician.

Akbar released a video showing the letter, which states: “Dear Valerie Raven, thank you for your support! You are a great artist and I have great respect for you. Together we will make America great again!”

In a now-deleted Instagram photo, Akbar thanked Trump for the gesture and expressed her pride in standing up for serious issues.

“On my birthday I got a sweet message from @realdonaldtrump and his team. Thank you all… I’ve always said I want to stand up for something… I also want to stand up and change my community and help kids who have gone through the same trials of life as me,” the rapper wrote.

Reactions on social media

Chile! Roommates flooded The Shade Room’s Instagram account with comments about Trump’s message to Akbar, with many agreeing that his gesture didn’t seem sincere.

Akbar supports Trump as presidential candidate

Akbar has openly supported Trump before, and many on social media believe Donnie contacted her because of one of her recent Instagram posts.

Although she deleted it, the rapper posted a cartoon image of herself with Trump, captioned “TRUMP 2024” at the top, reiterating her support for his presidential candidacy.

Social media users reacted to the photo and criticized her for supporting Trump.
