St. James Art Show in Louisville gains national recognition

St. James Art Show in Louisville gains national recognition

Louisville’s iconic St. James Court Art Show has been named to the top 10 in a new national list based on its years of success in the art world.

Sunshine Artist Magazine, a publication specializing in U.S. arts and crafts fairs and festivals, recently released its list of the top 200 festivals. According to the magazine, the rankings are based solely on revenue, which is the “most objective indicator of a show’s future success.”

The results are based on reported sales from 2023 and are divided into two categories: Fine Arts and Design and Classic and Contemporary Crafts. Louisville’s famous Fall Festival took third place in the Fine Arts and Design category.

The St. James Court Art Show, founded in 1957 and held annually in the city’s historic district, is scheduled for October 4-6 this year. See more results below.
