Dan Levy celebrates another trip around the sun.

On Wednesday, the “Schitt’s Creek” star celebrated his 40th birthday on Instagram with a sunset selfie. The actor posed in a cream-colored crew neck sweater and black glasses in front of a picturesque Italian landscape.

Levy kept his caption short, writing, “40” next to a balloon emoji.

The snap was quickly followed by messages wishing the Toronto-born producer a happy birthday and praising his timeless looks.

“I can’t believe I’m complimenting you but… 40 looks really good on you,” his “Schitt’s Creek” co-star Emily Hampshire commented on the post. “Happy birthday! Now delete this,” she joked.

“You don’t look a day over 65,” joked his Ottawa-born “Schitt’s Creek” co-star Annie Murphy.

“I hope you have the best day surrounded by everyone who loves you as much as we all do,” one fan chimed in.

“Welcome to the new audience. It looks great on you,” someone else shared.

“You’re aging like a fine glass of wine. Cheers to you!” wrote another.

The Emmy winner’s sister, Sarah Levy, also posted her brother’s 40th birthday on Instagram.

“He’s 40 and doing great,” she wrote alongside a sun-drenched photo of Levy in a swimming pool.

“I’m grateful to be back in Italy to celebrate such a milestone. Happy 40th (Dan Levy). I’m in awe.”

Earlier this year, Levy spoke about his time hosting “The Hills: The After Show” and the homophobia he faced on the first episode of fellow MTV host Jessi Cruickshank’s podcast “Phone a Friend.”

“I’m not going to name any names,” he said. “I remember coming into work one day and someone asked me what I did over the weekend. I said, ‘I installed a dimmer switch in my apartment.’ And the person said, ‘Wow, that’s almost like you’re a real man,'” he said.

“I thought, ‘This isn’t right.’ But back then there was no empathy and no one I could turn to. Because it was a different time.”
