Southwest Airlines to launch flights from Nashville to three new destinations in March

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Three new nonstop routes will begin operating from Nashville International Airport (BNA) next year, airport officials said.

On Thursday, August 22, the airport announced that Southwest Airlines is expanding its flight service to include the new nonstop routes.

Where can you fly from Nashville International Airport?

Travelers departing from Music City will be able to fly direct with Southwest to Indianapolis, Cabo San Lucas and Punta Cana starting in March 2025.

Doug Kreulen, CEO of the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority, said the expansion is another step forward in BNA’s commitment to offering travelers more nonstop and international options from Nashville.

“The addition of three new nonstop routes to BNA is a great achievement for us as we continue to strive to bring additional destinations to BNA for our travelers,” said Kreulen. “We are very pleased to announce these new Southwest flights, giving our passengers over 60 nonstop destinations.”

Nonstop service to Indianapolis International Airport (IND) will begin on March 6, 2025. At the same time, nonstop flights to two of the most sought-after international vacation destinations – Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) and Punta Cana Airport (PUJ) – will begin on March 8, 2025.
