The situation is becoming tense The Real Housewives of Orange County.

On the latest episode of the Bravo hit, Alexis Bellino received a call from John Janssen, who she claimed could change Shannon Storms Beador’s life – and not for the better. After revealing to the women that John had a video of Shannon on the night of her drunk driving, she revealed some shocking details about the contents of the footage.

“John called them right before we left and Shannon did something. He said, ‘All gloves off’ and they’re going to release these videos of Shannon,” Katie Ginella told Emily Simpson before dropping the bombshell: “There’s footage from Ring that shows her almost running over his daughter.”

“She kept saying, ‘If we publish this, she’s finished, her reputation will be completely ruined,'” Katie continued.

Emily, who was clearly shocked by the allegation, saw no reason for Alexis to talk about the footage. She said if John and Alexis were truly happy, they wouldn’t be doing this.

“Why are you dragging Shannon’s lifeless body around with you?” Emily asked. “I’m afraid that will push her to the point of no return.”

At the beginning of the episode, Alexis’ phone call with John was not shown, but the women heard what happened next when Alexis burst into hysterical laughter.

“I’m literally going to lose control now, the gloves are coming off,” she said.

“He only got to tell me about it for a minute, but I could hear it in Johnny’s voice,” she added of the news John told her. “It got to the point where John had had enough.”

When asked why she kept the details secret, Alexis said that was a question John would have to answer.

“I’m not at liberty to talk about what happened that pushed John to the limit,” she explained. “We have the footage. We have the damn footage. We’ve been holding it back this whole time.”

Alexis noted that Shannon “lied” but “the truth prevails,” and went on to say that she knew Shannon did not want the video to become public.

“She’s such a piece of shit. I think I’m going to throw up,” Alexis concluded.

Next, in slow motion, two weeks later, Shannon is seen crying as Gina Kirschenheiter tells her that there is a video that Alexis was talking about.

“He is a monster,” she said through tears.

In September 2023, Shannon was charged with hit-and-run and driving under the influence of alcohol, with a blood alcohol level of 0.24, three times over the legal limit. According to police, her car crashed into an apartment building when she got out, and shortly after, she was found with her dog a few blocks from the scene of the accident.

In a statement to PEOPLE, Shannon’s attorney Michael L. Fell said at the time: “I spent quite a bit of time with Shannon yesterday. She is deeply apologetic and remorseful. We will await official information on this case as it becomes available, and Shannon is ready to accept full responsibility for her actions.”

She was later sentenced to three years of probation and 40 hours of community service. Then, in November 2023, the reality star made her first public appearance at BravoCon and expressed her remorse.

“It’s been a rough six weeks, but I have to tell you I made a terrible mistake and – I don’t want to cry. I’m incredibly grateful that I didn’t hurt anyone,” she said. “I just completed a 28-day behavioral health program on my own with an alcohol component and was able to focus on elements of my life that were unhealthy and toxic, and I believe that today I’m moving in a good and positive direction.”

To the current season of RHOC, Shannon sat down with her three daughters to talk about their past mistakes, noting that she was “embarrassed” to set a bad example for them and explained the sequence of events that evening.

“Seconds later, I had an accident because I revved the engine so he could see how angry I was and I immediately lost control of the car,” she claimed. “I never broke a bone, I never had a concussion, I never had an accident, I never got arrested, I never got convicted of drunk driving and all of that happened in 10 seconds.”

The Real Housewives of Orange County airs Thursdays at 9pm ET/PT on Bravo.
