ALLEGED MISCONDUCT OF THE DEFENDANT:

The complaint alleges that throughout the Class Period, defendants made false and misleading statements about American Airlines’ new sales and distribution strategy designed to reduce internal costs while creating a significant increase in demand for American Airlines’ services. The complaint further alleges that these statements misrepresented the true condition of American Airlines and that American Airlines simultaneously concealed material adverse facts, including, without limitation, that American Airlines’ sales and distribution strategy did not produce projected revenues.

THE LEAD PLAINTIFF PROCEEDINGS:

American Airlines Investors can by 16 September 2024 at the latest, seek to be appointed as lead plaintiff representative of the class through Kessler Topaz Meltzer & Check, LLP or another attorney, or choose to do nothing and remain absent as a class member. A lead plaintiff is a representative party acting on behalf of all class members in directing the litigation. The lead plaintiff is usually the investor or small group of investors who have the largest financial interest and who are also appropriate and typical of the proposed investor class. The lead plaintiff selects counsel to represent the lead plaintiff and the class, and those attorneys, if approved by the Court, will be lead or class counsel. Your ability to share in any compensation will not be affected by the decision whether or not to serve as lead plaintiff.

Kessler Topaz Meltzer & Check, LLP recommends that American Airlines investors who have suffered significant losses contact the firm directly for further information.
