Ipswich Fire Service launches redesigned website

For immediate release

IPSWICH – Chief Paul Parisi is pleased to announce that the Ipswich Fire Department has launched a redesigned website.

The redesigned ipswichfire.org website features a user-friendly design that allows visitors to access resources, forms, department listings, news and more with just a few clicks.

On the homepage, visitors can find fire prevention tips and information about Student Fire Awareness (SAFE) programs. Users can also sign up for Smart911 alerts to receive notifications from the city in the event of an emergency.

Under the Fire Safety tab in the main menu, visitors can access permit and inspection information, fee schedules, locker information, and fire safety tips. Additionally, the Open Burning tab provides users with open burning guidelines and how to apply for and activate permits.

Chief Parisi explained that the launch of the new website coincides with the introduction of the department’s updated mission and core values. “Our core values are integrity, compassion and professionalism,” Parisi said. “Our mission to ‘serve our community with pride and honor’ is something we hold dear. We are committed to ensuring that our actions embody our mission and values in everything we do.” The mission and values are featured prominently on the website, and a tab provides a more detailed explanation of what they mean.

The website will be updated with news, events and other updates. Users are encouraged to sign up to receive email news alerts.

The Ipswich community is invited to follow the fire service through social media accounts such as Facebook and Twitter/X.

The website was designed by John Guilfoil Public Relations.
