Building friendships with the villagers of Pelican Town in Stardew ValleySimply talking to them every day is not enough. You need to have a steady supply of gift items on hand, and nothing is better than the universally popular gifts.
There are a few exceptions to universal gifts. Occasionally a villager will hate receiving one, but I’ll mention all of the exceptions throughout this guide. If someone is listed as an exception, it’s best not to even try to give them the item as a gift.
