Linda Green-Isles – The Mendota Reporter

MENDOTA – Linda Green-Isles, 66, of Courtland, Minnesota, formerly of Mendota, passed away on August 11, 2024, at her home in Courtland.

Linda was cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date in Mendota.

Linda was born in Mendota on July 20, 1958, to Joan (Green) Dennison. She was a member of the Mendota community until 1999, when she moved to the Rochester, Minnesota area, where she lived until her untimely death.

Linda leaves behind a daughter, Monica (Jamar) Caradine of Minnesota; a son, Joshua Holland of Mendota; Chris Miller of LaSalle; sisters, Karen (Mark) Maurer of Washington and Angela (Ron) Robinson of Ottawa; a brother, Charles Green of Mendota; grandchildren, Donovan, Conor, Aydden, Karma (children of Monica) and Aedan (son of Joshua); two great-grandchildren, Sophia and Logan (children of Donovan); many nieces and nephews, and other close family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all.

Linda was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Walter and Viola Schmidt, her mother, Joan Dennison, and a sister, Neva (Green) Lopez.

Linda was a loving mother to Monica (Hampton) Caradine and Joshua Holland. She also loved being a grandmother to all of her grandchildren. They were her greatest joy.

Linda was a loving and caring woman with a heart of gold and an unparalleled sense of humor. She was always the life of any party and made sure everyone was laughing. She loved her entire family with everything she had.

Linda was an active member of the Lions Club. She loved to craft and could always be found with something new she had created. She enjoyed selling her homemade artwork at the local gas station in Courtland, where she worked until her death.
