The cafe scene in Singapore is more diverse than people thought. We had a two-dimensional monochrome cafe with hand-drawn designs and even a fall-themed Korean cafe, complete with a canopy of autumn leaves. The most recent addition to this list is Cloudand as the name suggests, it is a cloud-themed café in 1A Duxton Hill.
Cloud lives up to its name, with white, fluffy, cloud-like decorations hanging above the baristas and in the middle of the café.
Like most cafes these days, it’s extremely minimalist in design, making ample use of muted colors like gray and white (perhaps to mimic the color of clouds). These colors, along with the natural sunlight coming through the windows and skylight, soon make it an Instaworthy mecca.
While you admire the interior, you can also enjoy our fresh, homemade baked goods.
Openly displayed near the entrance of the cafe are the confectionery options. You can choose items like Banana bread (S$5), Strawberry Lemon Cake (S$5), Fruitcake crumble (S$6), Chocolate chip cookie with sea salt (S$2), Butter cookies (S$3.50) And Brownie with Miso Caramel (S$6)Please note that some of the baked goods are seasonal.
The coffee selection does not disappoint either, with coffee from Double Up Coffee with beans from Brazil with a single origin. You have options like Espresso (S$3), Double Espresso (S$3.50), White (S$5.50/S$6), Black (S$5/S$5.50) And Mocha (S$6/S$6.50)You can Extra shot for 0.50S$ And Soy milk at 1 S$.
Please note that Cloud is still in its soft launch phase, so guests can expect an expanded menu once the offering is fully rolled out.
If you (like me) have a soft spot for clouds, you no longer have to wait for the rainy season!
