The Sharlot Hall Museum presents “Arts and Humanities in the Quad-Cities” on Saturday, August 24, 2 p.m.

Prescott, Arizona has always been an active arts and humanities community. Unique arts festivals take place almost every weekend; art galleries, museums, performances and public art are available to visitors and locals every day of the week. Over the years, many dedicated individuals and groups who want to live in a community that recognizes and supports the arts have created fertile ground for the arts to develop and thrive.

This fertile ground for the arts and humanities has extended beyond the Prescott region to Prescott Valley, Dewey-Humboldt and Chino Valley. Public art and arts centers are springing up to enable citizens in the Quad-City communities to engage with and support the arts and humanities.

Learn about the treasures of public art in the Quad-Cities and how you can become more involved in the arts and humanities in your local community.

This presentation will be given by Coleen Bornschlegel. Coleen is a local artist, art educator, and the current president of the Prescott Area Arts and Humanities Council. Coleen is a passionate art lover and interested in making creative connections in the community.
