From model to singer and now actor, Sudhanshu Pandey of Anupamaa fame has come a long way. The talented actor started his career as a model in the early 90s. Pandey made his television debut in 1998 with Kanyadaan. Apart from his success on television, he has left his mark in Bollywood films like Singh Is Kinng, Murder 2, 2.0, Singham and others. His Bollywood debut film was Khiladi 420, which released in 2000.

Not many know that Sudhanshu Pandey had ambitions to join the army. Interestingly, he was actually a senior student than Priyanka Chopra Jonas during her time at the army school. However, he later moved into show business.

Actor Sudhanshu Pandey is currently seen in the role of Vanraj Shah opposite Rupali Ganguly in the hugely popular television series Anupamaa. Initially, his character was Anupamaa’s husband but later became her ex-husband due to his extramarital affair with Kavya, played by Madalsa Sharma.

Sudhanshu Pandey’s portrayal of Vanraj Shah, a character with both good and bad sides, has created a huge buzz among the fans. His iconic character Vanraj Shah is back and has found a huge response among the audience. Recently, his character has undergone a transformation and is captivating the audience with his charming, lean and handsome personality. Since its launch, Anupamaa has been the No.1 serial and tops the TRP charts.

Keechaka in Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat

Sudhanshu Pandey, the dashing actor, played the role of brutal warrior Keechaka, a tyrant in the historical series Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat, alongside Siddharth Nigam and Reem Shaikh. His character was entirely negative and portrayed a ruthless figure who inflicted suffering on the people of Takshila. This was Sudhanshu’s first portrayal of such a menacing and cruel character on Indian television.

Yuvraj in Jhansi Ki Rani

Model turned actor Sudhanshu Pandey appeared in Jhansi Ki Rani as Yuvraj, the young prince who returned to the Moth province from abroad. He portrayed Kunwar Yuvraj, a sophisticated and fashion conscious man who had studied law in London. He represented British customs and felt more at home in London than in his own country. As a lawyer, he attended the trial of the famous Mangal Pandey and represented the British side. This was the entire plot that revolved around Pandey’s character.

The television series “Jhansi Ki Rani” revolves around the life of Rani Lakshmibai, an ordinary girl who developed into an extraordinary ruler and great warrior during the First Indian War of Independence in 1857.

Diwakar Limaye in Tamanna

Another role of Sudhanshu Pandey that captivated the viewers was that of Diwakar Limaye in the serial Tamanna. The actor was seen as Mihir’s (Vishal Gandhi) boss in the serial. His role created a rift between the lead character Dharaa, played by Anuja Sathe, and Mihir.

Pandey’s role in the show was significant as it changed Dharaa’s life completely. The character of Diwakar brought a twist in Dharaa and Mihir’s marriage, with Sudhanshu’s character becoming a significant figure in their lives.

Vishal Kapoor in Sanjivani

The series Sanjivani: A Medical Boon, which revolved around the lives of five doctors, brought a breath of fresh air to the series. The lead actors included Gaurav Chanana, Gurdeep Kohli, Rupali Ganguly, Arjun Punj, Mohnish Bahl and Iravati Harshe.
