London-based Christian publisher SPCK (Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge) has signed a distribution agreement with Ingram Publisher Services’ Two Rivers Distribution Group. The agreement took effect July 1, and Two Rivers will now handle all sales and distribution of SPCK’s print, e-book and audiobooks in the United States and Canada.
“The SPCK Group is excited about this new partnership with Two Rivers, which will meet the growing demand in the US and Canada for many of our titles from SPCK, IVP UK and our children’s book lists, including Lion and Candle,” said Sam Richardson, CEO of SPCK, in a statement. “We are delighted to be working with Two Rivers to increase sales for our authors and ensure the availability of all of our titles in North America.”
Founded in 1698, SPCK’s publishing program publishes approximately 80 titles annually and has a backlist of more than 3,000 titles. It has nine imprints and offers nonfiction on theology, spirituality, Christian living, and Bible studies. The publisher also publishes spiritual fiction titles under its Marylebone House imprint.
This is SPCK’s second major sales and distribution announcement in the last month. Earlier in August, the company announced it had reached an agreement with InterVarsity Press to handle UK distribution for the Illinois-based evangelical publisher.
