Alaska Airlines and Expedia partner for “Stays by Alaska Vacations”

Alaska Airlines has partnered with Expedia to launch Stays by Alaska Vacations, a platform where guests can receive exclusive deals on over 900,000 hotel and vacation stays while earning miles through the airline’s loyalty program.

Through the new partnership with Expedia, Alaska Mileage Plan members can earn one mile per dollar spent on a Stays by Alaska Vacations booking, while Alaska Airlines Visa Signature cardholders can earn an additional three miles per dollar spent on certain prepaid stays made through the program.

Guests have been able to take advantage of the offers since Monday, and Alaska’s most loyal customers will receive the highest rewards.

Mileage Plan is one of the most generous frequent flyer programs in the industry, offering customers numerous benefits and a fast track to elite status.

Plan holders can redeem their points for an elevated travel experience with perks such as “global connectivity to thousands of international destinations through our global partners, no change fees, high-quality West Coast-inspired food and a premium beverage selection.”

Alaska’s customer base has become accustomed to the airline’s streamlined vacation offerings. Earlier this year, Alaska Airlines introduced “Packages by Alaska Vacations,” a program that offers guests discounts on vacation packages, hotel stays, rental cars and vacation activities.

Stays by Alaska Vacations continues this theme, offering Alaska customers the opportunity to easily earn and redeem miles for travel amenities while taking advantage of some of the best deals on the market.

However, only Alaska Mileage Plan members have access to these benefits. If you fly frequently with Alaska Airlines, joining their loyalty program can earn you tons of airline miles that you can redeem for flights to over 1,000 destinations worldwide.
