ATASCADERO – Discover Atascadero’s vibrant art scene at the A-Town Art Hop on Friday, Sept. 6, from 6 to 9 p.m. This free, family-friendly event transforms downtown into a living gallery and showcases the work of regional artists from over 30 participating businesses on a self-guided walking tour of Traffic Way, El Camino Real and Entrada Avenue. The event coincides with the city’s First Friday fall celebrations.
A-Town Art Hop offers an opportunity to experience community creativity with live music, inspiring art exhibits, and a feel-good atmosphere that invites visitors to immerse themselves in the arts while supporting local businesses. In addition to the art exhibits, visitors can enjoy live music performances throughout downtown and delight in offerings from local food trucks. The event not only highlights our city’s artistic talents, but also fosters a sense of community and supports downtown commerce.
The mission of A-Town Art Hop is to inspire – which means “to breathe life” in Latin – by bringing art, commerce and community together to enrich the area. The vision is to create a vibrant cultural presence in Atascadero where people want to live, work, shop and explore. Organizers want to create a true gathering place where collaboration and partnerships thrive through exhibitions, workshops, programs and creativity.
