Get 100% off base fares with Frontier’s latest fare offer

Travelers can now save on one of the most expensive parts of a vacation.

Frontier Airlines recently announced the “Save Now” promotion, which offers up to 100% off base fares booked with the Denver-based carrier. Base fares mean the price of the ticket before government taxes and airline fees are added to the reservation, meaning the tickets are not completely free.

Travelers can redeem the 100% base fare discount by entering the promotional code SAVE NOW at checkout. The sale offers 100% off to members of Frontier’s paid membership program, Discount Den. The program costs $59.99 per year and also includes perks like free flights for children and discounts on baggage. Passengers who are not members of Discount Den only receive 50% off.

The sale ends on August 22, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. EST and is valid for travel through October 31, 2024, making it perfect for late summer or fall vacations. The sale is subject to several conditions, including a 7-day advance ticket purchase. It is not available on popular holiday weekends such as Labor Day. The sale also does not apply to Friday and Sunday trips.

For example, on a round-trip flight from Los Angeles to Orlando from September 12-18, travelers would pay just $16.38 as a base fare, a 50% savings for non-members. Travelers must also pay the $116 in state taxes and airline fees in addition to the base fare. If the traveler were a Discount Den member, they would only pay the state taxes and airline fees.

Frontier is known for low fares and untied pricing. This means that advance seat assignment, carry-on baggage and checked baggage are not included in the fare, so travelers must pay extra for these during the booking process.

Frontier has made its policies more customer-friendly and recently eliminated most rebooking and cancellation fees, for example.
