Huge cash donation for the Beaver Stadium revitalization project

The Pennsylvania State University Athletic Department has announced that the ongoing Beaver Stadium revitalization project has received a nice monetary donation.

Penn State athletic director Pat Kraft announced this morning that a donor who wishes to remain anonymous has given $10 million to the project.

This is the second major donation for the renovation of Beaver Stadium in recent memory. Last week, the Misitano family and PAM Health pledged $25 million for this important project.

“This generous family has supported our department in many ways and we are so grateful to have them lead our revitalization fundraising efforts,” Kraft said. “This gift is a unique symbol of a deep commitment to an important priority. We are so grateful for the support we received during the initial fundraising phase for this project.”

All donors who give eight figures or more will join the Beaver Stadium Founders Club and will be honored on a plaza in front of Beaver Stadium after renovations are completed.

In May 2024, the Penn State University Board of Trustees approved a $700 million investment to renovate Beaver Stadium to modernize the stadium, increase its revenue potential and improve the fan experience.
