Orlando Bloom shared some rare photos of his son Flynn as they spent some quality time together on Tuesday.
The 47-year-old actor from “The Lord of the Rings” and the 13-year-old spent the day at the Monterey Car Week in California – and fans were shocked by the change in Flynn.
Orlando shared a carousel of photos on Instagram and although only Flynn’s back was seen, it’s clear that he is growing up fast.
One photo shows Orlando with his arm around the teenager as they admire a Porsche – and Flynn is almost as tall as his father!
Another photo shows the duo entering the event, with Orlando lovingly placing his hand behind his son’s head.
“At Monterey Car Week with my boy @porscheusa @porsche,” Orlando captioned the post, which also included shots of him surrounded by cars.
InstagramHis followers were thrilled by the insights into their relationship and could hardly believe how much Flynn had grown.
“Your boy is catching up to you,” one commented. A second said, “He’s almost as big as you, Orlando.” A third added, “Wasn’t he… just a baby?! How did he get so big?!”
InstagramOrlando shares Flynn with his ex-wife Miranda Kerr. The former couple were married from 2010 to 2013.
The 41-year-old former Victoria’s Secret model married Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel in 2017 and the couple have since had three sons: Hart (5), Myles (4) and Pierre, who was born earlier this year.
The Pirates of the Caribbean star spoke openly on Jay Shetty’s On Purpose podcast earlier this year about how he handles co-parenting with Miranda and how his relationship with Flynn is developing.

“Flynn’s mother has a wonderful belief in life, I think, and I really respect that,” he said. “I don’t question any of that – his views – which were obviously instilled in him by his mother.”
© Getty ImagesHe also said the two enjoy going for walks and having long conversations, but that has changed since Flynn – whose mother and stepfather split their time between Los Angeles and Australia – grew up.
Orlando explained: “He’s thirteen now, so it’s almost like dad is being pushed aside, and I kind of know how that feels. I felt the same way, you know. So I try not to take it personally.”

He explained that the main question is, “‘Do you have respect? Do you support the child in your class who is not getting support?’ Because there is a wealth in that,” and noted, “I know that’s what he has in his heart, too. I see it.”
