Ramsey assumed an advisory role on August 1 and will oversee Klingerman during a month-long transition period. According to the FPoHC board, Ramsey was the first person hired at the FPoHC subsidiary.

“I am truly blessed and honored to serve the community with Family Promise of Hamilton County,” said Ramsey. “I have loved Hamilton County since I moved here as a little girl and enjoy sharing my love and passion through my work. I will take many fond memories of the families we have helped find housing over the years and will continue to advocate for them.”

Jennifer Novello, board chair, praised Ramsey’s leadership and dedication.

“Nancy leaves our organization in an incredibly strong and stable position after six years of inspiring leadership,” said Novello. “She has used her influence to change the conversation about sustainable housing and has generously shared her wisdom and insights with all of us.”

The board said Klingerman’s appointment as the new executive director was “a significant advancement in the organization’s mission to support homeless families and children in the community.”

Klingerman previously held leadership positions in the Department of Children’s Services and Family Development Services.

“I am very honored to succeed Nancy as CEO of Family

Promise of Hamilton County,” Klingerman said. “It is an honor to serve my hometown and county. We will continue to support families through our mission because we believe every child deserves a home.”

Novello said Klingerman’s background and commitment to fighting homelessness and supporting families aligns with the FPoHC’s mission.

“We believe Alicia will lead us into a new era of growth and success,” said Novello.
