A historic event: get to know the venue designed with timeless elegance

In an age where venues are springing up like mushrooms, it is rare for long-established locations to maintain their prestige and top status.

One such venue that has been at the forefront for 17 years is Troya. Located in the Bnei Darom complex in Ashdod, Troya hosts stunning events daily in its two halls. Inspired by Trojan history, the venue features sprawling lawns, large wooden doors, fish ponds with fountains, tall trees, impressive décor, and luxurious suites for the bride and groom.

Troya’s success over the past 17 years is no accident. The restaurant combines stunning design, world-class cuisine and exceptional service to maintain its high standards for so long.

The venue’s spaces are carefully designed and renewed every season. The lighting and sound systems are among the most modern in the world, sourced from the world’s best clubs, ensuring an outstanding audio-visual experience. The setup includes hundreds of metres of LED walls, state-of-the-art “vacuum-form” lighting from Ibiza’s clubs and sound systems that rival the best studios.

The venue’s design was influenced by the movie “Troy”, which was released in 2004, shortly before the venue’s opening. It is inspired by ancient Greek art and design, particularly Greek mythology and the classical period of Greece. The design integrates modern and trendy elements with those of ancient Greece, just like in the movie “Troy”.

The walls are inspired by ancient Greek architecture and feature towers, walls and halls that represent the wealth and grandeur of the city of Troy. The design consists mainly of stone, columns and arches and reflects the classical style of the era. The wooden panels were specially imported from Germany.

The colour scheme includes a wide range of natural tones, including various browns, sands and greys, to reflect the surroundings and era. The textures and designs are designed to convey a sense of permanence and timelessness. The walls of Troy, known for their strength and length, play a central role in the design of the city and are often depicted as tall and seemingly impenetrable.

The garden is inspired by the power of ancient Troy on the one hand, and on the other hand, designed like an enchanted garden with lush greenery, fountains and fish ponds. We are constantly revising the garden concept to adapt it to contemporary trends and the latest developments in the Israeli wedding and event scene, ensuring that it is always up to date.

In addition to the two large halls that can accommodate 500 to 1,000 guests, we have created six uniquely designed suites for an unparalleled experience. These suites accommodate the couple and their families from the afternoon before the event until the morning after. To enhance this experience even further, we have created a special dairy kitchen that treats the celebrants to a sumptuous breakfast the morning after the event.

The idea behind Troya was to create a unique event experience in Israel and our implementation is characterized above all by constant innovation and continuous adaptation to trends in the local event and celebration industry.
