Houston Rockets react to news about Gerald Green

Gerald Green last played in the NBA during the 2018–19 season when he was a member of the Houston Rockets.

He finished the season averaging 9.2 points and 2.5 rebounds per game while shooting 40.0% from the field and 35.4% from three-point range in 73 games.

Green played in the Big3 and had an outstanding summer in which he led his team to the championship.

Green was selected 18th overall in the 2005 NBA Draft straight out of high school.

He played 12 seasons for the Boston Celtics, New Jersey Nets, Minnesota Timberwolves, Houston Rockets, Miami Heat, Indiana Pacers and Dallas Mavericks.

His career averages were 9.7 points and 2.5 rebounds per game while shooting 41.7% from the field and 36.1% from three-point range in 658 regular season games.
