ODOT provides update on ongoing Hwy. 97 Lower Bridge Way-NW 10th Street project in Terrebonne

TERREBONNE, Ore. (KTVZ) – The US 97 Lower Bridge Way-NW 10th Street project is currently under construction in Terrebonne and ODOT provided this update on the details Monday:

We recognize that this project will impact the daily lives of Terrebonne residents and thank you for your patience during construction. Below is an update on the project so far and a very rough estimate of our schedule for the coming weeks.

Utility relocation is currently taking place throughout Terrebonne. This is a separate effort from ODOT’s work. In most cases, utility relocation must occur before we can begin our work, so we may need to modify operational/work areas until utility work is completed.

Our contractor is currently working on the canal construction on 11.th Road from Central Avenue north to US 97 through the end of the month. We then switch to Central Avenue to Smith Rock Way for about three weeks, then south on Smith Rock Way to US 97 for about three weeks.

The contractor will then return to each of these areas to restore the road, sidewalks and drainage.

Please note: Schedules are subject to change without notice. For weekly schedule updates, please sign up for the ODOT Region 4 Construction Report, which is emailed every Friday afternoon. These reports will give you the most current project schedule and planned road closures for the upcoming week. You can sign up for these reports here.

Additionally, a closure of Smith Rock Way is planned, but is not expected until later this year. Work is also currently taking place on Lower Bridge Way so that we can build ramps and detour routes for future bridge construction. The Lower Bridge Way detours are not expected to be implemented until spring 2025.
