XWind Studios releases Green Bay Airport for MSFS

XWind Studios has announced the release of Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport (KGRB) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. This addition to their portfolio follows previous releases of Norway’s Kristiansund Airport (ENKB), New Zealand’s Dunedin Airport and Chicago’s Rockford Airport.

Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport, located in Brown County, Wisconsin, is the fourth-busiest of Wisconsin’s eight commercial airports by passenger traffic. The airport serves as a regional hub, offering flights to major cities such as Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit and Minneapolis.

KGRB, colloquially known as the “Gateway to Lambeau,” is a major stop for fans and teams traveling to legendary Lambeau Field, home of the NFL team Green Bay Packers.

XWind Studios’ redesign of KGRB for MSFS aims to provide simmers with a detailed and immersive scenery that more accurately captures the real-world location. The developers list the following key features for this new product:

  • Custom images for the entire airport
  • GSX profile included in scenery folder
  • Custom taxiway signs
  • High-quality, optimized textures
  • Custom GSE
  • All models are optimized for performance with Level of Detail (LOD)
  • Basic interior of the airside terminal
  • Static people

With this release, XWind Studios continues to focus on regional airports that play an important role in their local communities. As in their previous releases, XWind Studios’ attention to detail promises a more authentic experience!

Green Bay Airport is now available for MSFS via simMarket and the iniBuilds Shopfor just over $10.00.
