Square Enix used the official Japanese social media account for Final Fantasy VII to show how Roche in FFVII RemakeThe two concept drawings by Roberto Ferrari and Tetsuya Nomura showed what he actually looked like with his long blonde hair, as well as seven other options with changed hairstyles, hair colors and tattoos.
When it comes to the seven possible examples, some of them resemble what Roche ended up looking like in Final Fantasy VII Remake. For example, the hair color is similar in option three, while the length is similar in options five and six. However, all the others show different interpretations of the character. Options one, three, and seven also tried out double eyebrow rings. Options four and six had him with a black tattoo around his right eye, and option six even featured a second design option. Five of the styles seemed to try out a shorter hairstyle, although the one associated with option six also showed some longer options on the far left.

The other piece by Ferrari shows us the final style for Roche in Final Fantasy VII Remake. It combines the hairstyle from option five with the color from option three and the length associated with option six.
Final Fantasy VII Remake is available for PS4, PS5 and PC and FFVII Rebirth is available on the PS5. There is no release window yet for the third part of the trilogy.
