There may be a toddler running around the house where Stacey Dooley lives with her partner Kevin Clifton and their daughter Minnie, but you would never notice it in her immaculate dining room.
On Instagram on Sunday, the BBC documentary filmmaker gave a rare insight into one of her most private rooms. Stacey gave an unprecedented glimpse into her new pistachio-colored dining and living roomwhich was previously a blank canvas with white paint.
The inviting space felt effortlessly chic, adorned with Gothic candelabras, colorful vases filled with fresh flowers, and moody abstract artwork.
© Instagram / @sjdooleyThe centerpiece of the room was a large marble table with kitschy, colorful salt and pepper mills and a mother-of-pearl fruit bowl that resembled a large shell.
In the corner, a large freestanding mirror reflected the family’s hotel-like lounge, which was flooded with light through large floor-to-ceiling windows.
“Home all day on Sundays, YES,” the TV star shared on Instagram, suggesting that her home in Liverpool is her happy place.
Stacey and Kevin, who found love on Strictly Come Dancing in 2018, moved to Liverpool in 2023 after falling in love with their “forever home”.
InstagramProfessional dancer Kevin told the Liverpool ECHO: “Stacey loves looking at houses online. Looking at interiors and other things is her favorite thing to do.
“She just happened to see something she liked and thought, ‘Oh, that’s not far from my mom.’ We went and looked at it and when she walked in she said, ‘I love it and I can really see myself living here.’ It all happened very quickly and we love it.”
InstagramThis isn’t the first time Stacey has given her Instagram followers a glimpse into her home. Just last week, the Glow Up star posted a photo of Kevin standing in Minnie’s nursery.
The mother of one doesn’t shy away from bold colors either and chose to paint the walls in a bold chartreuse shade that perfectly complements the yellow and green tones of the stained glass window.
To maintain the character of the property, Stacey has updated the cast iron radiator with a coat of black. Neutral carpet is used throughout the floor, while a cream ruffled rug adds a touch of quirky charm.
