Smoked Room and Orfali Bros start culinary collaboration

The MICHELIN-starred restaurants offer a unique culinary experience.

The MICHELIN magic is here as two MICHELIN starred restaurants join forces. Smoked Room Dubai and Orfali Bros will launch a one-off culinary collaboration on Monday 9 September. Here’s how to get a seat at the table.

Orfali Bros made headlines when it was ranked 50th in the world’s best restaurants. It has also won the FACT Dining Award Dubai and was featured on the Netflix show. Someone should feed Phil. The restaurant is run by three brothers from Aleppo, Syria. The menu combines ingredients, techniques and influences from around the world to create a unique interpretation of Arabic cuisine.

Dani García is behind Smoked Room Dubai, which prides itself on its open fire and barbecue cooking experience. Smoked Room Dubai is Leña’s sister restaurant and draws inspiration from its original restaurant in Madrid, which has two MICHELIN stars. The venue has just 14 seats and offers an exclusive and personalized dining experience. In Japan, the omakase experience means leaving everything to the chef.

The four-hands dinner will take place in the Smoked Room at the St. Regis Gardens on the Palm Jumeirah. Guests can sample the specialties of both restaurants and the combined influences. Dani Garcia of the Smoked Room and Mohamad Orfali of Orfali Bros create a menu that takes you around the world. Expect flavors from Andalusia, Japan, Aleppo, France and influences from Italy and Spain.

The four-person dinner with Smoked Room Dubai and Orfali Bros consists of two sittings: one at 6pm and a second at 9pm. The menu starts at AED 1,200.
