Patrick Mahomes reads his children a bedtime story in a sweet photo

Patrick Mahomes has an adorable bedtime routine!

On Sunday, August 18, his wife Brittany Mahomes shared a sweet photo on her Instagram Stories showing their two children – 3-year-old daughter Sterling Skye and 20-month-old son Patrick “Bronze” Mahomes III – snuggling up on their father’s lap before bedtime and reading him a story.

The trio looked at a book in the sweet snap while Sterling held a flashlight. Brittany, 28, explained that her youngest child had recently been added to the routine.

“Bronze got very angry because he wasn’t allowed to participate in Sterling and Daddy’s bedtime ritual, so now he’s been brought in and Mommy gets to look at this cutie,” said the pregnant Sports Illustrated Swimsuit wrote the model, adding an emoji with tears in her eyes and a white love heart.

“Sterling’s job is to hold the flashlight so they can see the book,” she added, tagging Patrick, also 28, with two crying and laughing emojis.

Previously, Brittany, who is expecting the couple’s third baby, shared some sweet snaps of their family breakfast together on her Instagram stories the same day.

“Had a breakfast date with the family this morning. Could they be any cuter?” Brittany wrote above a snapshot of her kids hugging.

A second photo showed Sterling playfully grabbing Bronze by the neck. “This quickly turned into a chokehold,” Brittany wrote over a second image, including a laughing emoji.

Patrick is now back to work after his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, defeated the San Francisco 49ers in the 2024 Super Bowl in February.

On Saturday, August 17, Brittany and the kids headed out to watch the NFL preseason game between the Chiefs and Detroit Lions at Arrowhead Stadium. Sterling brought her doll to watch the action.

“The baby was not left behind today,” Brittany wrote over a photo, adding two laughing emojis.

On Instagram, she also shared a carousel of pictures of the family on the pitch and wrote in the caption: “Match days are here❤️💛.”

The Mahomes family spent some quality time together over the summer, and they returned to the U.S. last month after a jam-packed European vacation that included stops in London, Portugal, Spain, Italy and more.
