Emmerdale’s Cain is shocked by the Samson story

Emmerdale spoilers follow.

Cain Dingle from “Emmerdale” experiences a nasty shock in Monday’s episode (June 10) as dealing with Samson’s lies proves to be more difficult than initially thought.

Cain has vowed to save his stepson Matty Barton from prison after Samson falsely accused him of a brutal attack.

Last week, Samson and his new friend Josh teamed up to cause trouble for Matty while he was working a shift at The Hide.

Matty threw away their drinks after their bad behavior. Josh was the leader and Samson then tried to intimidate Matty with threats. Josh also made transphobic comments towards Matty.

The situation got out of control when Josh pushed Samson towards Matty, who was holding a knife. Samson suffered a stab wound and – under pressure from Josh – later told police that Matty had deliberately attacked him.

In Monday’s episode, Cain tries to make good on his promise to help Matty by confronting Samson.

During a visit to Sam and Lydia, Cain accuses Samson of lying because he is afraid of Josh.

He is frustrated when Samson sticks to his false story and refuses to clear Matty’s name.

Unfortunately, Samson doesn’t want to listen to him and instead contacts the police to report Matty for his illegal visit.
