Kris Bernal celebrates his daughter Hailee Lucca’s first birthday

Kris Bernal’s daughter Hailee Lucca is now one year old!

On Instagram, the celebrity mom shared an Instagram reel of her adorable moments with her little daughter along with a heartfelt birthday message.

“And so my baby is ONE! Happy 1st birthday to my #LittleSunshine, Hailee Lucca,” Kris began the caption, tagging her daughter.

“Until you were born, I didn’t know my heart had so much strength! Thank you for making me a mommy,” she said.

According to Kris, her daughter is her “heart,” her “soul,” the “source of her laughter and her tears,” and the “best thing” that has ever happened to her.

“You taught me patience when frustration was near and showed me the ‘best friend’ strength I needed within myself,” Kris continued. “All the hugs and kisses in the world will never be enough to show how much I love you.”

At the end of her post, Kris expressed her gratitude, love and admiration for her unique daughter.

“Thank you for giving me the best year of my life. I love watching your personality evolve every day and how you grow up. You are going to be such a gentle soul, but one that will hold her own!” she concluded.

Hailee is Kris’ partner with her husband Perry Choi, whom she married in 2021. They announced the pregnancy in March 2023 and revealed that they are expecting a baby girl in April.

In August last year, they introduced their daughter Hailee Lucca. She was baptized in June.

The new mother spoke openly about the challenges of motherhood. In a Fast Talk episode earlier this year, she spoke about her diagnosis of postnatal anxiety disorder.

“I just did a mag-adjust, but so far it’s getting better,” said Kris, who quickly issued a clarification.

“That doesn’t mean I’m not grateful, but I love the journey. That means I’m not grateful,” she said.

Kris later said on Instagram that motherhood was her favorite era.
