Juliette Jackson of The Big Moon marries at a festival – Music News

Juliette Jackson of The Big Moon has married her partner Max at the Green Man Festival, 10 years after the couple met at the same gig.

The singer and guitarist met her new husband at the Welsh festival in 2014 when they were both delivering packages for the Secret Post Office, the free service that allows festival-goers to send letters and cards to others on site.

Then, five years later, Max took the stage during The Big Moon’s performance in a post office uniform to propose to Jackson. The couple had their first child in 2021.

And to complete the union, the couple married at the festival site in Glanusk Park in the Brecon Beacons surrounded by friends, family and postal workers at the Green Man, NME reported.

The Big Moon have played numerous shows over the summer, including the Somerset House Summer Series in July, supporting Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds at Cardiff Castle, supporting The Libertines on Brighton Beach and the Bearded Theory Festival in Derbyshire in May.

The London band will support Glass Animals on the UK dates of their upcoming Tour Of The Earth tour, which includes stadium appearances in Glasgow, Manchester, Nottingham, Cardiff and London in early November.
