Juliette Jackson of The Big Moon marries her partner at the Green Man Festival

Juliette Jackson of The Big Moon married her partner Max at the Green Man Festival on Saturday (August 17) – 10 years after the couple met at the same festival.

The band’s singer and guitarist met her new husband at the Welsh festival in 2014 when they were both delivering packages for the Secret Post Office, the free service that allows festival-goers to send letters and cards to others on site.

Then, five years later, during The Big Moon’s performance, Max walked on stage wearing a postal uniform and flanked by Secret Post Office staff to propose to Jackson – watch the moment below.

And to complete the union, the couple tied the knot at the festival site at Glanusk Park in the Brecon Beacons, surrounded by friends, family and Green Man postal workers.

The London band will support Glass Animals on the UK dates of their upcoming ‘Tour Of The Earth’ tour, which includes stadium dates in Glasgow, Manchester, Nottingham, Cardiff and London in early November. Full details can be found here and any remaining tickets can be found here.

The band last released an album in 2022 – “Here Is Everything” was their third LP and included the singles “Wide Eyes”, “Trouble” and “This Love”.

In a four-star review of the album NME wrote: “There may be bad days, like those described in ‘Suckerpunch,’ but there is always hope. And these tracks are not only personal to Jackson and her story, they are universally felt. From her pen to her sound, ‘Here Is Everything’ is emotional and brilliant; one that gives breathing room in this busy world.”

The Big Moon have played numerous shows over the summer, including the Somerset House Summer Series in July, supporting Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds at Cardiff Castle, supporting The Libertines on Brighton Beach and the Bearded Theory Festival in Derbyshire in May.
