“The Godfather Part II” actor John Aprea has died at the age of 83.

On Sunday it was announced that the “Full House” actor died of natural causes.

John’s manager Will Levine told TMZ that he died on August 7 at his home in Los Angeles, California.

He was also surrounded by family members.

John was born on March 4, 1941, in Englewood, New Jersey, a city across the Hudson River from Yonkers, New York.

Throughout his career in Hollywood, he has appeared in many television shows and films.

Between the 1980s and 1990s, he appeared in television series including The Gangster Chronicles (1981), The A-Team (1985), The Fall Guy (1986), Falcon Crest (1987), Under the California Sun (1988) and Full House (1987).

In the legendary family sitcom, which aired from 1987 to 1995, John played the father of Uncle Jessie, played by John Stamos.

He also returned for the rebooted Netflix series Fuller House.

John also appeared in several films, including The Stepford Wives (1975), Idolmaker (1980), New Jack City (1991), Dead Man on Campus (1998), and Lost Angelas (2019).

EMOTIONAL TRIBUTE

Paul Carafotes, co-star of “John’s Knots Landing,” said a warm farewell to his longtime friend in an Instagram post.

“I just heard that my old buddy and friend died.

“We laughed a lot. We met on the set of the CBS television series Knots Landing in 1987.

“Many will miss this man! Rest in peace, old friend.”

“See you on the other side,” he concluded.

“I HAVE ALWAYS ADMIRED HIS WORK”

In the comments section, Paul’s friends and followers expressed their condolences and praised John’s work so far.

“I’ve seen him in movies and always admired his work,” wrote one.

A second added: “I am very sorry to hear about John.

“May his memory be eternal.”

A third echoed: “This is so sad.

I just loved him, and I loved the scenes with you two.”

A fourth said: “Sad news. RIP.”
