Jeremy Clarkson prepares for new pub with garden decoration

In West Oxfordshire, preparations are underway for the opening of a new pub recently purchased by Jeremy Clarkson.

He made the announcement on Thursday (August 15) in his annual A-Level post on Twitter/X.

The Clarkson’s Farm star wrote: “Don’t worry if your A-level results aren’t what you expected. I got a C and two Us and here I am, 46 years later, with my own pub. It opens next weekend if you fancy a look.”

It is now clear that preparations are already underway as the prominent Oxfordshire farmer ponders which flag to hang in the beer garden.

On X, Mr Clarkson wrote: “There’s a flagpole in the garden of my new pub and I’m wondering what kind of flag should be flying there.”

Numerous suggestions were received from fans, including a flag featuring Hawkstone, a new lager and cider, Clarkson’s own alcohol brand produced in conjunction with Cotswold Brew Co at a brewery on College Farm, just outside the village of Bourton-on-the-Water.

Other suggestions included the Diddly Squat Farm crest or one by Gerald Cooper, a fan-favorite dry stone wall specialist at Diddly Squat Farm.
