Designer home brands collaborate during Nantucket by Design

Regina Andrew Detroit, Stanton, Jessica Charles and Farrow and Ball are living on the streets, at least for a few months. The designer brands sponsored a show home called Ten Easy Street in July Nantucket by Design.

The model home, conceptual exhibition space and activation space were redesigned by designer Eileen Kathryn Boyd and unveiled during Nantucket by Design, July 15-18. This was the ninth year of the Nantucket Historical Association’s annual event. A cocktail party was held on July 18 to celebrate the home’s transformation, one of the highlights of the event.

“This is our first year at Nantucket by Design,” said Neil MacKenzie, CMO of Regina Andrew Detroit. “And we hope it won’t be our last. We were impressed with Eileen’s work and also with the quality of the interior designers who attended the event. Many of them don’t make the trip to High Point, so it’s great to meet them in such an inspiring environment.”

Ten Easy Street is located near the ferry docks and offers panoramic views of the harbor. The brands that built Ten Easy Street can be found on the home’s website. Soon, guests will be able to shop in every room, including products from brand partners such as Stanton rugs, Regina Andrew Detroit accessories and lighting, and Jessica Charles upholstery.

“Working with such a talented designer as Eileen on this historic home was a true joy,” said Jessica Charles Creative Director Regenia Payne. “This was the perfect setting to showcase Jessica Charles’ product. Interacting with such renowned designers and visitors to the home during Nantucket by Design was truly exceptional.”

The house was originally built in 1933 for Miss Florence L. Schepp, who was a dedicated member of the Artists Association of Nantucket for over 20 years. Florence’s work is a testament to her connection to the island, and her paintings are on display in the AAN’s permanent collection.

Ten Easy Street will be open to visitors by the end of 2024. In addition to bridging the gap between makers and buyers, the venue also serves as a cultural hub for events and gatherings. With an emphasis on shared creativity and fostering a collaborative environment where innovation meets tradition, Ten Easy Street is a cornerstone of inspiration for the island’s influential community.

“Stanton was thrilled to partner with such renowned home furnishing brands at Ten Easy Street and was honored to be chosen as the preferred flooring supplier by the talented Eileen Kathrine Boyd,” said Stanton’s Senior Marketing Director Christine Zampaglione. “The home was a beautiful example of history, charm and innovative, modern design. The carpets played an important role in creating that foundation and we look forward to our continued collaboration.”
