Martin John KASPER III
OBITUARY
KASPER Martin John III of Shoreview, MN was born September 15, 1958 and passed away July 25, 2024. Martin was a beloved father, brother and friend to many. He was known for his kind nature and dedication to the underprivileged. Martin spent his professional career in the “car business.” Over the years, he held almost every sales position possible. He loved his customers and fulfilling their dreams of buying a car. Martin loved landscaping, Minnesota sports, music and a good cigar. He was serious and a joker at the same time.
Martin is survived by his daughter Cassandra Kasper, his brother Steve (Cyndee) Kasper, and his nephews Brian Kasper and Dan (Amanda) Kasper. Since Martin’s death, many have described him as a hardworking, great guy. That was true. Also true was that he suffered from an illness not often mentioned in obituaries. It is often disguised by the words “sudden” or “unexpected,” when in reality it was neither sudden nor unexpected. Martin died from complications of alcohol abuse. Martin’s addiction does not define him, but in the end it separated him from those who loved him.
