Batman games with the best stories

Batman games with the best stories

Batman is undeniably one of the most iconic comic book characters of all time. The character has an unparalleled aura and, to be honest, is much harder to replicate. Even a well-written and developed superhero is boring without solid supervillains. Caped Crusader has an impressive variety of supervillains that give him a great challenge.

Christopher Nolan set the stage for his iconic Dark Knight trilogy with Batman begins, which made Christian Bale one of the best Batman fans of all time. Besides, this origin story was also very interesting. So EA and WB decided to develop a video game based on this story with some minor changes.

The game follows the same storyline and also features clips from the original movies as cutscenes. Each actor and actress also lent their voices to their respective characters, which made the gaming experience more realistic. However, the game was overlooked by many for various reasons such as boring gameplay, lack of genuine curiosity, lack of linearity, etc. Despite this, it is still a decent game that Batman fans should give a chance.

With the involvement of such a villain, the threat is also greater, as this time the Justice League fights to save the Earth. In the process, they also make a deal with the devils in Joker and the Legion of Doom. The game also features some new modes, which makes this installment much better than the last ones. All in all, it’s a great, silly and lighthearted game that players should definitely try out to take a break from other darker Batman games.

The choices players make at each point will determine the later events they must deal with.

The plot follows a rather down-to-earth storyline in which Gotham slowly experiences its downfall at the hands of the criminals from Arkham Asylum and the Penguin. A disappointing farewell to The Dark Knight

Batman: Akrham Knight

Rocksteady said goodbye to the Batman Arkham series with its last part, Arkham Knight. The game has a major graphics upgrade compared to its predecessor, Arkham Origins. However, as time goes on, these Batmobile battles become less fun and more like a chore.

Now let’s get to the story, it follows the events of Arkham City and shows how calm and cozy Gotham is now until Scarecrow along with The Dark Knight take over the city and make it hell for the innocent. Since Caped Crusader knew his time would come, he shares some really soulful moments with his allies like Nightwing, Robin (Tim Drake), Alfred, etc. It also shows the psychological struggle Batman goes through after the events of Arkham City. The game also features a number of jump scares. The story seems slow at times and could have been better. However, it is still good.
