MILWAUKEE – The Hoancoming: Fresh Coast party in Milwaukee certainly drew a crowd, thrilling spectators Saturday night with a drone light show.

Currently there are only lights on the west side of the bridge, but in addition to the party, Hoancoming also hosts an annual fundraiser to raise money for lights on the east side of the bridge. The money raised also goes toward general maintenance and community programs.

At around 8pm, the first boats arrived in anticipation of the show, and the banks below the Hoan were packed with spectators. The show began at around 8:30pm and lasted about half an hour.

Rado Milwaukee’s mobile app and 88.9FM aired DJ Shawna to accompany the light show.

The drones flew up and over the Hoan from the north and outlined the words “Hoancoming” and “Light the Hoan” at the beginning of the show.
