While it may seem an unconventional choice for this list, the banana fritter (pisang goreng) stall in OUG definitely deserves its place. For nearly 20 years, an elderly couple has been running this stall, frying banana fritters, sweet potatoes, nian gao (cakes made from glutinous rice flour) and yams throughout the day. The constant flow of customers ensures that everything is always made fresh.
