This could revolutionize the way you watch the Premier League

Die-hard sports fans are usually looking for the best and most modern way to watch their favorite Premier League teams.

The transition from traditional color television to high definition television was a major breakthrough in sporting event viewing. The introduction of 4K television then became the ultimate way for fans to watch the action.

However, there is now a new technology that allows fans to feel as if they are actually in the arena, even though spectators may be thousands of miles away from the venue. Cosm, a technology company focused on creating immersive experiences, has opened places where fans can experience sporting events in a unique way.

“The Dome,” as it is called, allows fans to watch big games in an 87-foot 8K LED structure. The wraparound display used in this dome shows up to 12K resolution, bringing spectators so close to the action that it feels like they are actually in the stadium.

“When you’re inside the Dome, you’re completely immersed,” Cosm claims. “Our revolutionary technology makes you feel like you’re courtside at an NBA game or traveling to a world other than your own.”

The state-of-the-art Cosm in LA recently opened

For select soccer fans in the United States, the new immersive reality experience could change the way they watch Premier League matches. Cosm currently has two facilities open in the States: one in Los Angeles and the other in Dallas. The 65,000 square-foot facility in California is located right next to SoFi Stadium. The Dome resembles a smaller version of the Sphere in Las Vegas.

Sports fans in these two regions can watch games at The Dome. Admission is $22. As with real sporting events, seats closer to the action are more expensive.

In addition to experiencing a sporting event up close, visitors can also order food and drinks. Not only are these served inside The Dome, but fans can also place concession orders right from their phone. Cosm offers a mobile app for ticket holders at the facility.

The technology company says it could soon come to “every major city” in the country

However, visitors to the Cosm don’t necessarily need to buy tickets to The Dome. The facility has an area called The Hall. This part of the building is equipped with wall-sized LED screens. The Hall essentially resembles a traditional sports bar. Still, the huge, high-quality displays and gourmet food provide fans with an upscale experience.

Visitors who enjoy being outside on nice days/evenings can also enjoy themselves at Cosm. The Deck is a large outdoor area on the roof of the huge building. Sports fans can enjoy the sunset while watching their favorite team from the rooftop. Like the other two indoor areas, the Deck also has plenty of food and drinks available to order.

While Cosm currently only has a presence in Los Angeles and Dallas, it is looking to expand. In fact, the tech company recently announced that it has raised over $250 million to fund the project even further. Cosm claims that there is potential to build similar venues “in every major U.S. city” in the coming years.
