WORCESTER, MASS.- The Worcester Railers’ 2023-24 season was filled with memorable games, comeback wins, record-breaking performances, sellout crowds and the ECHL’s Community Service Team of the Year award, an honor they have won five times in the last six years. On January 13, the Railers honored the legacy of professional hockey in Worcester by wearing retro Worcester Ice Cats jerseys. The Railers defeated the Norfolk Admirals 4-2 in a comeback win in front of a sold-out crowd of 7,094 fans. The game’s highlight was the Railers’ captain Anthony Repaci scored his 61st goal as a Worcester Railer, breaking the previous record of Barry AlmeidaThe entire evening was considered the highlight of the year for all fans in attendance and the community that supported the event.

ECHL: Norfolk Admirals sign graduates of Sacred Heart University
The Norfolk Admirals announced that they have signed Sacred Heart University graduate Braeden Tuck for the 2024-25 ECHL season. Tuck wore the “C” for his final three seasons at Sacred Heart and was named the NCAA (AHA) Individual Sportsmanship Award winner for the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons for the incredible sportsmanship he displayed throughout his college career. The Tahoe Knight Monsters have announced that they have signed defenseman Jake Johnson for the 2024-25 season. Johnson comes to the Knight Monsters after spending the end of the 2022-23 season with the Fort Wayne Komets.
