X players the Jazz could sign with the $7.98 million room exception

X players the Jazz could sign with the .98 million room exception

Earlier this week, it was announced that the Utah Jazz had signed Patty Mills to a veteran’s minimum contract, but Tony Jones of The Athletic revealed that the signing won’t be official for a few weeks, and for good reason.

Jones later confirmed what else the Jazz have in their arsenal.

Using this exception could give the Jazz another advantage. Teams want to get better, but they also want to save money in the process. If the Jazz help them do that, it could be a win-win for both sides.

At the same time, it depends on who they get and for how long. Would the Jazz consider it worthwhile to accept a contract that might compromise their long-term flexibility somewhat? Well, what else would they get in return?

There are several players the Jazz could sign – not only to add another player, but it might be worth giving them a chance because they don’t have much to lose at the moment.
