Retired NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III received a lot of feedback on his latest social media post.

The former Heisman Trophy winner, 34, revealed a picture in Paris, France with his wife Grete.

Griffin shared a photo of himself and his wife on Friday.

The two were seen eating a huge croissant together on a balcony.

Griffin posted the snapshot on X with the headline “It’s always croissant time in Paris.”

The image immediately went viral, having been viewed 8.1 million times by Friday afternoon (Eastern Time), as fans shared their hilarious reactions to the photo.

“I can’t believe he thought this photo was a good idea,” commented one fan.

“Save some for the rest of us,” wrote a second.

“Some photos should remain untaken,” added a third.

Some Social Media Users have even edited the photo with Photoshop.

Griffin acknowledged the fans’ mockery and commented on the post.

“You can’t even eat a croissant with your wife using this app anymore,” wrote the 34-year-old.

Griffin has been enjoying the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris as the event concludes this coming weekend.

He will return to work as a college student football analyst for ESPN when the season begins later this month.

Griffin was the network’s analyst on Monday night countdown.

The Baylor product appeared on the pregame show for two seasons before being outed in May.

Legend of the Philadelphia Eagles Jason Kelce, who retired from the NFL in March, replaced Griffin.

Kelce will join the NFL program during the regular season.

He will also be featured in studio coverage of the Super Bowl and ESPN’s coverage of the big game in 2027.

The college football season begins on August 24th.

And the NFL season opener will take place on September 5th.
