Happy birthday to Megaa Grandberry, son of Omarion and Apryl Jones.
The former couple recently came together to celebrate their son’s double-digit birthday.
Jones posted a special message on social media paying tribute to her son on his special day.
“I can’t believe it’s been 10 years since you came into our lives. I remember it like it was yesterday… Megaa you are the most beautiful son any parent could ask for. Happy birthday bub bub on August 7th! (Remember to follow my @stronghomenetwork page).”
In addition to Megaa, the R&B singer and actress also has eight-year-old daughter A’mei Grandberry.
The former couple were together between 2013 and 2016 and gave the world an insight into their relationship in the reality series. Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood.
The couple separated after A’mei’s birth in 2016. Nevertheless, they managed to find their way through raising their child together.
In a previous interview, when asked about their co-parenting relationship, Omarion said, “We’re still in a period of change. As I said, I’m the type of person who likes to leave room for new ideas and different methods. I’m all for that. But right now we’re in a period of change.”
Their “transformative” state seems to be working for the couple, as they now host joint birthday parties for their children and also go on vacation together.
Earlier this year, Omarion gave an update on his and Jones’ co-parenting relationship on Sways Swaying in the morning radio show. Omarian said, “I would say that at this point we are moving toward a better relationship with the children.”
He continued, “It’s all good. It was just something we went through. I think as long as respect is valued and appreciated within the blended family, you can get through just about anything.”
