Ben Affleck’s little birthday party with kids was everything he wanted.
Ben Affleck turned 52 on Thursday, August 15, 2024, and celebrated the day with a small party. Despite rumors of a split from Jennifer Lopez, this celebration was everything he wanted for his birthday. JLo and his ex-wife Jennifer Garner were briefly spotted at the birthday party.

Ben Affleck enjoys a small birthday party
When the Batman actor celebrated his 52nd birthday in a small group with his children, sources revealed, “It was exactly what he wanted. He didn’t want to go out to celebrate. The kids had gifts for him and it was sweet.” The source also mentioned, “Jennifer came by to congratulate him,” People reports. Affleck celebrated his birthday at his rental home in Brentwood, California, where his ex-wife was visiting. Lopez was spotted leaving his house hours after Garner’s visit.
The actor wanted to focus on his three children with his ex-wife Garner and spent the entire day with them. The insider said: “The children were with Ben for most of the day. He didn’t leave the house at all on his birthday.”

JLo is out and about for Affleck’s birthday
The On the Floor singer also left home on Affleck’s birthday, as she was spotted at the opening night of the Intuit Dome in Inglewood. She attended the event, which also featured performances by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars, in a Dior dress with a shiny wrap design and posted photos from the night on Instagram.
Her visit to Affleck’s home came after she celebrated her birthday in the Hamptons without the actor present. The two spent the entire summer apart, including celebrations such as the Fourth of July and their wedding anniversary.
An insider told People in early August that Lopez is trying to enjoy her summer, regardless of what’s going on. The insider also said that the two are “moving on separately,” as they have put a shared Beverly Hills mansion up for sale and Affleck recently purchased a new home in Los Angeles.
