Distribution of school supplies on Sunday in Augusta and Waterville

In Augusta, The annual back-to-school backpack giveaway will be held Sunday from 1-3 p.m. at the Augusta Civic Center, 76 Community Drive. Any school-age child who needs a backpack and school supplies for the 2024-25 school year is welcome to come by and receive a free backpack and school supplies. Students must be present. Booths will be set up for activities such as face painting, karate demonstrations, free book giveaways, food giveaways and more.
