“Love Island” star Sophie Piper declared her love for Josh Ritchie in a tribute on his birthday.

The couple teamed up on the inaugural season of Love Island: All Stars, which saw previous contestants return to the villa for another chance at finding love.

Sophie and Josh hit it off straight away and ended up in third place. Their relationship has remained strong even after moving out of the village. Sophie wrote a heartfelt message on Instagram today (May 21) to celebrate Josh’s 30th birthday.

“Happy birthday to my favorite person ❤️,” she began, accompanying a photo of the couple celebrating over a few drinks. “I still can’t believe that less than 4 months ago I didn’t know you and now I can’t imagine life without you!”

“I love being your best friend and I’m so lucky that I get to laugh with you every day 🫶🏽 You are the kindest soul and thank you for continuing to make me happier than ever. I love you forever 💫”

Josh, who previously appeared in the first series of the ITV show, responded to the post, writing: “Thank you love you ❤️ Finally I can stop celebrating my birthday I’ve aged 10 years judging by the amount I’ve drunk in the last two weeks hahah love you ❤️❤️”

The comments section was also full of messages from fans and former co-stars, including Eve Gale, also from All Stars Island, who sent her well wishes. This Morning presenter Rochelle Humes, Sophie’s sister, also sent a message, writing: “Happy birthday Josh ❤️”

While Sophie and Josh are still in love, All Stars co-star Georgia Harrison recently reflected on her love life following her split from Anton Danyluk, saying: “I don’t manifest a man. I’m obviously not very good at dating,

“I’ve done enough dating shows and it never seems to work out. I’m at a point in my life where I literally just want to focus on what works well for me. I’m really at the point where I don’t need a man to be happy anymore. Maybe that’s not my purpose in life.”

Love Island will be broadcast on ITV2 and streamed on ITVX.
